Happening? Kai told me that if i held that in Singapore, nobody will actually turn up. Its amazing how Melvin said he missed beehoon so much, and Shengwei and his mee goreng. Boy am i glad that i cleared 20 packs of my indomee today. Wonder if i can ever finish them b4 i head home! Home oh home, how i miss home. Doesnt help that today is the Yanling's last day in Lund, and she will arrive in Changi airport on the 30th nov. Ritz is right, time sure flies when yr having fun. Now i dont really wanna go back because of the crazy SMU life, but i really wanna go back because i miss that crazy life. Ironic huh?

We spent the night watching Love Actually, and tmr we'll congregate again for The Ring. On Sunday it'll be Man U vs Chelsea. Now thats something really exciting. Esp when Wayne is the Man U fan and Yinghao is the Chelsea fan. It'll be fun to place them side by side during the match.

And tmr we'll be going to Copenhagen to send Yanling off, and shun bian walk ard cph. And darn i still havent finished my two-page double spacing essay on the Swedish labour market. Hard to turn that momentum on now. Argh just give me the strength now to finish it!

My laptop crashed.

Post birthday gift from Fujitsu + Windows XP. Apparently after installing some updates from the XP pack, my computer entered the blue screen mode. Its scary. Panic Attack. After hearing other people's similar encounters, they had to buy a new hard disk and they lost EVERYTHING. I cant lose everything! my computer is my life. Imagine wad i could do with no computer? That would be efficient lau every min mans. Well i sent it to GH Data for repair, cost me 695 krs, enough to buy a bike! Quote Cheewee: U just need to load the recovery disk, very simple one. u kena tok cai tao.

Now u know why stupid people exist.

A day in Goteborg

Its terrible. I felt so cheated. The organisation of the trip is really bad.. doesnt help that it rained the whole day.. and the mentors actually brought us to see mooses and elks. Come on lah i paid 320 sek not to see a FREE zoo ok? by the time it was free and easy time, all the shops have closed.. and we're left stranded in the macdonalds again. Deja vu stockholm?

Well i guess its not that bad after all? better than spending my birthday in my dorm starring into my computer screen. It was ard 12am when we were queuing outside the club (a very lousy one) when cheewee asked me the time. naturally i said oh twelve, suddenly i saw them take out party poppers, when clement shot one at my eye. Scary sia i saw the sparks from the party popper. so paiseh i never had so much attention directed at me b4. some ang moh also came to say happy birthday to me. Apparently they were shopping for the party poppers in the supermart and tried to divert my attention.. when i diverted my own attention to tabloid magazines. sigh there is truely a bimbotic (no i say girly) side to me. I guess it wasnt hard for them to spring a surprise!

The club is expensive, enormous and empty. Now i truly appreciate Zouk and their house music. Not that i was ever a house music fan. It wasnt fun given that drinks were expensive, but fun to see a gay approach cheewee. Going home was a relief and a torture. I wonder how the ang mohs entertain themselves so easily, they never fail to shut up and go to sleep during the 3-hr ride back to Lund. Some witch was laughing throughout the journey...some guys were singing.. europeans ah...

Flowers from home!

I am gonna be all sunshine and cheerful for the next 3days! My sweet family sent me a bouquet of flowers ( i didnt even know Lund has a flower shop?) Becoming older does have its perks. I hope the government will send me progress packages next yr too!

My Birthday dinner

Yinghao decided to whip up a meal for me today (15th Nov) since he will be in Oslo on the extra day. Cool i had my dao you bak and shou mien (longevity noodles)! Seems that my brithday is indeed coming.. never thought it was a big deal though.. until parcels arrive... silly pple like Manchi wishing me happy birthday on the 14th.. birthday dinners with shou mien.. Somehow i am glad i didnt spend my birthday in singapore.. the hassle of celebration.. especially during an exam period? You probably wont feel the joy as much... Next time my children will have birthdays not in March, July nor Nov cause these are typical exam periods! I think the best times will be December... Jan.. Feb.. lucky babies! Well i'll be spending my birthday in Goteborg. just a day trip there and a night of clubbing. Probably one of the few times i will spend my birthday this way.. i am not a party animal ok?

Oh and i met a pure Henghua girl! Happening!

Norway! Home of the Fjords! Shall not say too much abt wad we did... except scenery scenery and more of that! We went to Oslo, Bergen, Voss.. and took terribly long train rides.. but i guess its not something u see so often..

Halloween Party + Farewell Party for Yanling

Friday:
Halloween Party at St. Lars (old mental hospital). You really get the creeps when u walk in mans. the corridors are quite freaky and i heard some of the attached bathrooms in the dorms have the straps to tie mental patients down.. hmmss.. but anyways me steph and cheewee made our way there.. Met matthew, yingyi and jiajuan there.. its quite funny to see people dressed up in all diff weird clothes.. guys dressed as girls.. wearing tight dresses.. i saw ju-on also.. there was even a guy wearing just a swimming trunk out in the cold (2 degrees maybe?). Brave! there were so many people we kept getting pushed around.. not so fun i guess.. the music was also quite bad..

Sat:
Supposed Farewell dinner for Yanling.. she'll be leaving for London end of Nov and returning to Singapore around early Dec. So lucky ah!! i also wanan go home mans.. yah we had curry chicken, dao you bak, bak ku teh, onion eggs, cauliflower... very filling! Shengwei and melvin donated bak kwa.. and we had lousy red wine, beer, cider, vodka.. all sorts.. the red wine really tastes like crapp!! but better than the ones in italy~ we ended up watching Xmen 2 on tv.. played some sparklers.. abit of tai dee.. and went back already.. yawn..
