Sunday Excursion to South-East Skane
South-East Skane: Glimmingehus & Ales Stenar. Well its hard to say where it really is.. but its near the tip of Sweden on the eastern side. (so says Sout-East?) And that whole region is called Skane.
1st stop: Glimmingehus. A small castle said to be the most well preserved Middle Age Nordic castle. The history of it is really interesting, owned by some really rich guy who happens to be a pirate as well. Nei he's not like Jack Sparrow.
2nd stop: Ales Stenar. This place is Sweden's largest preserved 'ship-setting' - stones set in the layout of a ship. Not sure how old this thing really is, some say 5,500, others say 1,400 yrs old. A very beautiful place, which sells very fresh salmon and tasty herrings.
This day is probably one of the most relaxing days. Managed to sleep on the coach for about 2-3 hrs, then reach home around 4 plus in time to go online and MSN. We finished up the excess spaghetti today and do our laundry (super troublesome, shall not elaborate here. all i can say is this old building can be darn high-tech). Now its time to rest!
