Kiruna 28th - 3rd Dec
so begins our 22hr train journey to the artic circle... it wasnt as bad as i tot, but one crazy woman was talking throughout the journey, she only slept for 2 hrs. irritating.
kiruna was -15 degrees at most, in the city centre it was like -5. the place is filled with snow, about knee's height. beautiful place, and we got to see some northern lights! how lucky! we joined some 2 day tour package, and i think its really worth the money.. we got to saw wood, make our own fire, eat sami food (reindeer meat and stuff), sauna, sleep in reindeer fur, dog sled rides, snow ball fight, ski, drink river water, live in lappish hut with no electricity.. but of coz, see the northern lights.
so many things i wanan say, but just too tired to type them down. gotta prepare for my trip to chicago tmr, kinda tired already...

Hi there I a singaporean in Lund as well and I am thinking of going up to Kiruna and the Ice Hotel...what tour did you join? Can recommend?

hello peiching.. i joined the Taube Activity tour, 2 days 1 night, very worth it.. u can find the tour details on the lappland visitor website, or just google it. I've mentioned this kiruna trip to my smu friends in lund too (Yixin, Elaine, Gerald A, Ming). Help me say hi to all of them and to Yuxian and Si ying too!
